Thabeet, who was drafted second overall in 2009, became the highest-ever draft pick to be sent to the NBADL back on February 25th. In six games with Dakota, the UConn product averaged 13.8 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.17 blocks while playing over 31 minutes per game. The 7-foot-3 Thabeet was putting up a paltry 2.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.16 blocks in 50 games with the Grizzlies before being sent down.
